The fourth season of the X-Files shows the first sign of confusions that the mythological episodes will have from now on, this is probably due to the fact that the major plot is revealed in the first three seasons and from now Carter just put on some major new story arcs to keep on the show.

Anyway we still have good episodes and the main ones are still pretty ok.

The third season of The X-files is probably one of the best of the entire serie, almost all episodes are worth watching.

The second season of this famous tv serie is very well made and refines the formula.In the first half of the season there is not much Scully, caused by the pregancy of Anderson, this culminated with the famous abduction of the character, an event that is portrayed still today in the major mythology plot of the show. This situation was not planned at all.

Anyway many good episodes during this season, and there's even the first comedic episode, the ones that are my favourite of all.

The X-Files is one of the most influent tv series of every time.

I personally consider it 'The Miami Vice of the 90' for its cultural relevance both in the 90’ and still today. In fact recently, after fifteen years from season nine finale, we just had a new miniseries of six episodes following the adventures of agent Mulder and Scully themself in today’s modern and hyper technological world.
